I keep getting e mails from China from companies saying they want to be business friends,they are selling all the spas you see with other companies on the internet. They are even advertsing direct to anybody on google. It is barmy !
The prices are so low just to get dodgy traders to buy this junk as for trade price all the companies selling this crap in Uk are ripping people off making 3k on a 5 k spa then saying bye bye

We have been 'caught' by this company, 12th August 2009, man calling himself Mathew (funny, also ex army as I read in another post here).
sold item as a in stock item for delivery in 3-4 weeks, because they had two of them which the buyer had gone bankrupt so they were in stock and available, all we had to do was choose the colour........
hhhmm here we are end of November and finally found all the complaints against this/these linked companies.. The Trade Price Group - Spa Serve - Insparations - HDI whatever - First Choice Hot tubs... all same two brothers plus 1..
We have requested refund if not court action...... so its court I am afraid, have contacted Consumer Direct, & Trading Standards, and Watchdog.. Seriously NOT TO BE TRUSTED... PLEASE email or message us with any info you have out there which may be beneficial to us.. as we have never had to take anyone to court before.
Just another one who has been caught up in the trap of TRADE PRICE HOT TUBS, being told one thing and then another.
Again it was Stuart who came out he was ever the sales man and promised me things, which now I am finding cannot be delivered.
When Stuart came to my home, we went through everything with him, and I was delighted with the hot tub that we were supposed to be receiving. I explained to him that it was my daughters 18th birthday, and due to the fact my husband had just passed away 3 months earlier, we wanted to make this birthday special for her and that was one of the reasons we wanted a hot tub. The order was placed and I was happy with what I had ordered. With regards to payment I was told that if I paid in full, then the order would take approx 6 weeks, which meant that we would get not get the hot tub for her birthday but a couple of weeks later. If we didn’t pay in full and paid a deposit and then paid for the hot tub the week before it arrived, then we were looking at approximately 12 weeks for the order to be delivered. As it looked like it was going to be delivered middle of October, it meant that my daughter could have a belated birthday 2 weeks after her birthday. I paid in full, just short of £5000 in full !!!!! by cheque...
I telephoned the dispatch department beginning of October to be told that, it had not yet gone on the boat and there was a 2 week shut down somewhere, so it would be the 12th October before it went on the boat, it would then take 4 weeks so I was looking at November before I was going to receive it. I was not happy with what I had been told but said OK, and thought well at least its going to be here in a few weeks.
I telephone again end of October for an update and was told, it had not even gone on the boat yet, it was due to go on the boat on 5th November, now meaning that I would not be getting the hot tub delivered till middle of December. I explained how unhappy I was over this and explained what I had been told by Stuart when he took the order and took my money. I asked if I could speak with Stuart and was told NO, they deal with the orders so it was them who would deal with things. I was then told, well you did sign to say it would take approx 12 weeks before it arrived, we will send you out another copy of what you signed. I didn’t have any qualm with what I had signed, just that I had been told by one of the owners something completely different.
I again spoke with someone from the dispatch team middle of November and was told that they are awaiting some information but it should be delivered by middle of December. Again I was not happy but at least it meant that it would be here before Christmas.
I have today telephoned again for an update to be told that it has not even gone on the boat yet, that they are awaiting confirmation from the shipping dept that it had even gone on the boat. I asked do you not know if its on the container yet, and I was told NO, we usually get told when it goes on. She said your order does take 12 weeks. I told her it was 12 weeks today and we are still no-where nearer getting the hot tub delivered. She said there is nothing she can do till they know its on the container and I will be updated then, but it looks like it could be next year before it even gets delivered.
She told me to write in and my complaint would be dealt with. She said I will get interest on the money I had paid to them as it had been over the 12 weeks. I have said if i dont get a call back from Stuart by close of business on 1st December I will cancel the order and ask for my money back...
I wish I had not fell for all this and that I had researched the company.....
i complained to them, they have now sorted it and my delivery is before Christmas... if you email them it gets sorted
Guys, dont bother with threats and phone calls etc just start court proceedings. I did and got my money back with court costs and compensation.

We posted here in Nov 09 when we cancelled our 3-4 week delivery order from saleman Mathew (very distinctive would be interested to compare what Stuart/Simon looks like from other customers whom they 'sold' their lies to.
We were sold the 'unpaid for tub' sitting in 'stock' special deal and had to pay £4590. We Stoopidly did, ex special forces story again to us, parachute accident, very well rehearsed,
Anyway... small claim was logged onine with HMCS 23/12/09
Jonathon Husselbee is defending the claim (forms to prove)
Trading Standards visited us Monday this week, taking statement and they have a case against them.
We have gathered masses of evidence, names/addresses etc., its quite frightening, not just of the ex-customers who have been sold same speel as us, never delivered (same story from the office girls all round), and trading standards want as much info as poss..

Hi my name is Vicky I have been caught out by these people too!! I ordered a hot tub from them in August 09 but decided to cancel my order after hearing lots of horror stories. I cancelled the order the beginning of sept 09 and was told my money would be paid back in 28 days. Needless to say this didint happen. I rang them nearly every day and kept being promised it. I then rang trading standards and they advised me to write a letter recorded delivery saying they were in breach of their contract and that if the money was not paid back I would take court action. Four letters and many many phonecalls later I still have no money!! So I have started court proceedings against them and hav enow found out they are going to defend the whole claim!!! these people have got to be stopped. The more of us who make a noise the more we will hopefully be heard. Any advice or info you have would be greatly appreciated. I am a single mum with 2 disbaled kids that the guy (who was also funnily enough ex army) met and chatted to!! How do these people sleep at night? Do they have no shame?
Hi Everyone. To keep this simple, do not buy from trade price group, spa serve, ukhottubsforsale.com,ukhottubsforsale.co.uk, hottubssupermarket.com, tubsales.co.uk and the many other names they trade under.
These are bunch of con artist, who make you wait months for tub, if you try to cancel its near impossible, if you manage to cancel they keep 1/3 of your money, alot time you get nothing at all and if you do maybe, just possibly get a tub delivered, its not american, it's chinese and garbage.
Mine was delivered in Dec 2009, and up to now, dvd broke, t.v. broke twice, speaker casing come apart water getting in, speakers hard to get up, pump dont work properly, some jets dont work, the steps, bar, stools all split, the umbrella stand is not level, the ice buckets dont drain, cover is rusting, lack of insulation makes running cost very very high.......... all in all it's rubbish and not what they sell you when taking your money.
Do NOT trust Matthew Morehead, Jonathan Husselbee, Simon Foster, Katie foster, Stuart Cox and Patrick Murray and i wouldn't even trust girls in office as they lie like cheap carpets aswell.

Do not buy from trade price group. They make you wait months and months, then if you complain they may offer you 2/3of your money back, you will most of time get nothing and have to take them to court and if you do get a tub after waiting up to 18 months, they are cheap badly made chinese ones.
DO NOT USE TRADE PRICE GROUP OR SPASERVE OR TUBSALES.CO.UK OR HOTTUBSUPERMARKET OR UKHOTTUBSALES AND THEY USE MANY OTHER NAMES ASWELL SO IF COME FROM STAFFORDSHIRE, DONT ORDER FROM THEM.
